The Mission of McDavid-Jones is to provide students a safe environment where they are challenged to become prepared and productive citizens.
The purpose of McDavid-Jones is to be a school that builds the foundation where students exhibit abilities and talents that lead them to be college and career ready graduates.

This is a reminder that all transportation changes must be in writing containing the address and phone number of where the student is going. All changes must be approved thought the office. Students will not be allowed a transportation change without a written and approved note. All changes must be received in the office no later than 9:00 a.m. No early dismissals after 2:00. Please keep this in mind when scheduling doctor appointments. Transportation changes will NOT be accepted over the phone. Only people listed on Student's Enrollment Cards may get children out of school. A Photo I.D. is required. Please make sure these names are up to date.
All conferences must be prearranged with the teacher. Everyone is asked to sign in with the front office when on campus. This is for the safety of all students.
Emergency Contact Numbers
Parents, it is necessary for us to have at least three phone numbers to contact in a case of an emergency. Please do not list numbers that are out of services, disconnected, or that do not accept incoming calls. Failure to make contact with a parent in case of an emergency will be reported to Mobile County Public Schools social work department.
Field trips must be paid for at least two weeks in advance (before trip). There will be no exceptions to this rule! Money will not be accepted after the due date.
