
Students had a great week of ACAP testing. A special thanks to the CHS cheerleaders for helping with a pep rally to motivate students to do their best on the test.




ACAP testing continues tomorrow, March 20th. Reminder: Students are not allowed to have backpacks or digital devices in the testing rooms. Please leave all backpacks at home. Per the digital device policy, all digital devices will be collected from students. This includes cellphones, tablets, smart watches, Fitbits, or any other digital device deemed to violate the ACAP Digital Device policy.

Mrs. Smith's class is learning about the life cycle of a ladybug. Each student drew a stage of the life cycle. The class looked through the illustrations and identified the stage of each picture.

Yearbook Information



Fourth-grade students participated in a wax museum project as a culminating activity for their unit on famous Alabamians. During this unit, students conducted research, engaged in writing, and practiced public speaking. These students did a great job sharing their learning! Thank you to all members of the community who came out and supported these students.

In accordance with school policy, students are not permitted to receive personal deliveries such as balloons, flowers, or stuffed animals during school hours for holidays, birthdays, or any other celebrations.
Mrs. Boltz’s class has been learning about periods of time — the past, present, and future! Students completed a timeline project and presented their work to the class. They did an outstanding job, and we are so proud of their hard work!
