Fun Friday Pumpkin Painting! Mrs. Garland’s class used Q-tips to paint their pumpkins, practicing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity one dot at a time! 🍂🎃🎨

We have been busy learning all about seasons, weather, and the different things we can find outside! Today, we took our learning beyond the classroom and enjoyed a little class field trip to our outdoor classroom.
Our students explored nature and used what they found to create their very own nature hats while enjoying this beautiful fall weather! 🍁🌿
We ended our school day with a special Johnny Appleseed Day snack and a fun apple craft! 🍎

Today our little chefs celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day by making apple nachos and apple pie! 🥧🍏 We talked about each ingredient, counted how many ingredients we used, and discussed the steps needed to make our yummy treats. It was the perfect way to mix math, sequencing, and hands-on learning—with a delicious ending! ❤️🍎

Ms. Lowe's science classes participated in a Chemical and Physical Changes experiment day! Students worked in groups and rotated around the room to 8 stations determining if what they were seeing and doing was a physical change of matter or a chemical change!
There will be no school for students on Monday, September 28th. It is a Virtual Day. Assignment Packets will come home on Friday, September 25th.

We turned down the lights, grabbed our flashlights, and made reading a little more exciting today! ❤️ Our second graders loved finding a cozy spot, shining their lights on a good book, and enjoying some special reading time.
It’s amazing how something as simple as a flashlight can make reading feel like an adventure! We’re building strong readers, growing our love for books, and having FUN while we learn! 📖✨

Mrs. Gibbs' PreK class enjoyed celebrating Neon Day for Day 1 Dress Up for homecoming week.
Ms. Weavers 2nd Grade class kicked off homecoming week for neon day and had a glow party! From activities to Cause and Effect, Compare and Contrasts, Words sorts, Write the room, Fact fluency with Tic Tac Toe, Bowling with subtraction 10 facts, and building three digit numbers, these students really made our classroom shine and grow❤️
